The short version
We do not create user accounts and we do not ask for your name, password, or comments. We collect as little as we can while still understanding which videos are useful.
What we collect
- Anonymous, aggregated usage events: which page was viewed, which video started, how far it was watched, and whether an Amazon link was clicked. These events contain no name, email address, IP address, or device identifier, and cannot be used to identify you.
- Your favourites are stored only in your own browser. They never reach us as a record of who you are; we keep only an aggregate count per item.
- If you email us or use the contact form, we keep your message and address only in order to reply.
Cookies and local storage
We use first-party local storage to remember your cookie choice, your favourites, and the campaign parameter that brought you here. If analytics are enabled, we ask for your consent first. Choosing the necessary-only option stops all analytics events from being sent.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address, record the consent text you agreed to, and provide a working unsubscribe link in every email. We never send Amazon affiliate links by email.
Advertising and third parties
We do not sell personal information. Embedded videos load from YouTube only after you press play, which limits third-party cookies until you choose to watch.
